Mkhitaryan Will Help My Luck to Print Many Goals
Midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan said his job next season was to help create chances for striker Romelu Lukaku in scoring to bring Manchester United to a dream under manager Jose Mourinho.
Romelu Lukaku brought Manchester United from Everton for 75 million pounds (about Rp 1.3 trillion).
The 24-year-old will fill the void in the striker sector after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract is not renewed.
Lukaku managed to score his first goal in a preseason game against Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium on Monday (07/17/2017) local time.
Goals that created in the 38th minute was born thanks to bait from Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
One assist for Lukaku’s goal made Mkhitaryan a personal target.
The 28-year-old wants to be Lukaku’s servant to help the Red Devils achieve success, especially in the Premier League and Champions League.
“I hope I have a good relationship with Lukaku, I know how great he is,” Mkhitaryan told ESPN.
“I will help him to score as much as possible because it is very important for him, me and of course the club, I hope to help him to help us realize our dreams and win many games,” he promised.
In addition to being one of the servants of Ibrahimovic in 2016-2017, throughout his career, Mkhitaryan once helped great strikers such as Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in Borussia Dortmund.
With that experience, Mkhitaryan certainly will not be difficult to help Lukaku.
However, the Armenian player called Lukaku is a different player. He refused to compare the player with his former colleagues.
“Lukaku is a special player, he is not the same as Lewandowski and Aubameyang,” Mkhitaryan said.
“I’ve played with a lot of good strikers and they all have different qualities and abilities so you can not compare them all,” he said.
